Nice pancakes, great service, not so great smells

Good service...for 3:00am in the morning. But the prices...wow. Haven't been to Denny's in a long time I guess. Twenty dollar breakfast of eggs, potatoes and toast. Surprised me. Most of the other breakfast items were in the same price range. Mel's Diner across the street has same price range, but at least you get more for your money there, and a better menu to select from. I trust all Denny;'s aren't priced as high as this one in downtown San Francisco.

Food was good. Place was comfy. And my server Franklin was amazing. I truely enjoyed breakfast. I will definitely be going there again.

Food is great, but the prices are outrageous.I paid more than double the price at Denny's in SF than the one in Key Largo. I understand the differences in states, but more than double?!It was the same pancake meal.

Service was amazing. I was very impressed with the overall service. There was 10 of us and as soon as they took our order the food was out at a fairly quick time. The waitress constantly checked in with us. We loved it. Definitely recommend. I do have to mention the prices are a bit higher than your normal Denny’s. I’m guessing because it’s SF?

Great food, but the attendance not always responsive. The neighborhood is creep, at least at late hours. One of the few opened late

The food was great, better than any other Denny's I've been to, but the prices are outrageous. Few things were under $15 and you'll quickly notice there's no $2, $4, $6, $8 value menu. A slam will cost between $15 and $20, and a coffee is $5. The food is good, but definitely not worth the price.

As in all Denny's, prices go up after 10pm. At least I believe this was the reason milkshakes were twice the price of the online menu. It could have been expanded prices for being a restaurant in San Francisco. There is also a citywide tax on anything unhealthy. Look up San Francisco Healthy Surcharge. We brought 23 people in at 2am. Surprisingly, they were moderately busy at that hour. Even so, our order was taken quickly and arrived to our table soon after. Everyone in the part was satisfied. The only drawback is that they will not make separate checks for large groups but they were upfront with us. The staff made the trip to Denny's enjoyable.

The only good thing about this Dennys is that it's open late...and if you're only desire is to have simple french toast because that seems to be the only thing they are good at dishing out. Throughout the years there has been nice waiters and terrible waiters...Nice [not necessarily good but nice is acceptable only at the wee hours of the morning]. Anything that looks amazing on the menu is not what you will be getting nearly 100% of the time...just try to keep that in mind when you're starving and those cinnamon roll pancakes look to die for...they're not. Haha!

They are their own private dennys apart from the other dennys , dobt expect them to accept all your coupons . the food was ok , been feeling like they have been upscaling themselves from the good ole' times.

A great place to have a diner. It's 24 hours. The food are tasty and delicious. Brilliant.

Food was typical Denny’s food. The prices were ridiculous. Expect to pay $30 per person and $6+ more per item (see pics). I ordered a patty melt, ice tea and garden salad and my total was $33.89. They also include a SFHI tax of $1.19 on top of the usual state tax. SFHI is a new tax that you are required to pay “if you eat in San Francisco.”

Tasty food, best part is that it's open 24/7. I often go there between midnight and 5am. The only problem is that they serve only combos and those end up being too heavy for me

I really wanted to give it more stars but sadly I can't. I couldn't order a simple breakfast. The service was mediocre at best. The food sucked. The bacon stripes looked like a single strip cut in half. The sausages were precooked and tiny. The pancakes had no flavor even with butter and syrup. My scrambled eggs were okay, but not great. They were perfectly cooked, but boring. Service was lacking and the coffee was dreadful.I don't recommend this place at all unless you like plain food, surroundings, easy seating (hardly a soul in the place at lunch), and HIGH PRICES.

Service and food can compliment each other, upon order they deliver on timely manner. However, I'd Tai the hygiene and security issue of this place as whole lot of homeless and rude/addicted people seems like dine here in the night time which can have tremendous effects on new people and women in general.

We went twice. The first time service was really slow despite the place being more than half empty. Coffee refills were extremely slow in coming. The place is quite large, slightly dull and mostly lit artificially. We decided to give it a second chance and found it better. Not the usual Dennys welcome atmosphere but in a convenient location downtown.

We had a breakfast in this restaurant that is just 3min walk from Pickwick hotel. Nice decoration, good atmosphere... Staffs are friendly and polite. Foods taste is brilliant & fresh. Check out the photos.

Tasty food as always, big portions. Servers are always pleasant and are very helpful. Went to this specific Denny's twice on holiday.

Super busy location, interesting customers. Great people watching, also great people watching. The food is Denny's food it looks and tastes the same across the world. Except North Korea looks and tastes like feces because it is, most likely. The utensils are somewhat suspect. The knife was full, the fork didn't fork well and the damn spoon was domed . Also, fantastic people watching.

Very quiet restaurant with fast service and very friendly staff. The only downside was when I had to use the restroom one of the toilets were clogged and the other stall was locked and no one was in it. Staff however did take care of the issue. No parking available but if your in the area doing shopping and want a quiet place to regroup and sit down to eat I definitely recommend.
